Our company-operated website, “SNOW MONKEY RESORTS,” is a travel information site for global travelers that introduces readers to both “charming local tourist areas rich in nature, culture, and tradition” and “easy-to-use transportation options for exploring these areas.” By providing this information together, we aim to encourage foreign visitors to explore rural Japan. The site is multilingual, offering information in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Thai to reach a wide range of international visitors.
Traveling efficiently around rural Japan within a limited time is not easy for inbound tourists. In addition to providing information about the area’s unique resources and experiences, it is also important to consider how tourists will travel from urban areas to these regions and plan specific routes. At "SNOW MONKEY RESORTS," we aim to support regional tourism and revitalization by not only offering information about the region’s attractions but also marketing tours and public transportation options for easy exploration, helping visitors experience rural areas more easily.

KURA
Magazine
“KURA” is a monthly magazine that was first published in 2001 as a guide to Nagano’s attractions. Its name is inspired by the “kura” (traditional storage houses) used to store family heirlooms and valuable food, symbolizing a treasure trove of Shinshu’s history and culture. While the magazine has long been beloved for its quality content on tourism, town development, and food culture, the digital age eventually led to its discontinuation. However, there were many voices urging the continuation of “KURA,” which had been delivering captivating information about Shinshu for over 20 years. In June 2022, we acquired the business from the former publisher. After careful consideration of how to continue the legacy that "KURA" had built as Nagano’s compass for two decades, we are excited to relaunch it as the "NAGANO Lifestyle and Travel Magazine KURA Online.
